Hi all... Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Chennai show was great. It kinda had a major hiccup, but I had the time of my life. I've got some photos and videos, but right now am sitting on a pretty slow connection. Will upload them within the next week - gimme few days. But for now, the photo of the moment is the one where John's got his arm around me!!!! (Tried uploading it - really slow connect, though! Try checking my orkut profile.)

Yep - that's right - Smithafied!!! To all of those who're wondering - what the heck is that - well, it's not much. It's just a meshing together of two lives that God brought together... What I Want to Do in Life

Many of these I'd already either started or been involved in some way or the other. Some of these I'm sure, I can't ever do. But here's the thing - I finally know what I want to do/be in life. Apart from the job that I do. Or maybe, even  at the job that I do. My life's mission statement for the next thirty years or so. Here goes... The first question, "Where did you get a job?", is also the most unnecessary question. I haven't got a job elsewhere. And I'm not looking. The second question, "What about money? Survival?" has a pretty unconventional answer ("unconventional" by the standards of this fast-paced, rat-raced world). Ban CSK? Really? Pray, read this and then tell me why

Below is a response I posted to a commentor on Facebook, who said, "CSK team must be banned and Guru - the enthusiastic crook - jailed." and followed it up with "All these guys are frauds. But Srini is a shameless fraud". While it shouldn't be too hard to dig up the details of this enlightened human being, I personally would not mention his name here to maintain whatever level of privacy the world wide web offers. So, here we go. Dear Mr ...  All frauds are shameless. Having said that, let me focus on your actual point here - that CSK should be banned and 'Guru' should be jailed.  1. It is yet to be proven in a court of law if Mr. Gurunath (forgive me for using his full name - I don't know him well enough to call him 'Guru') has broken any laws. Living Waters Community Church

Yep - it looks like my church has changed. It may be too soon to say this, but looks like I'm going to be a regular at the LWCC, which is situated half-way across the city. It's a lovely little house church and I'm beginning to think that all our churches should be broken down into house churches. At the end of the day, the size/building doesn't really matter does it? Well, I went there this Sunday again, and found it pretty decent, to say the least. Youth was fun (I guess that always is!) and I did manage to again come up with a few questions for Pastor regarding his message. What can I say?! I like it here!!!

John Schlitt's The Grafting - India tour, May 2008

So... The tour of Petra 's lead vocalist for twenty years - John Schlitt - is all set to begin. I've bought myself a nice white tee that I'm hoping to get him to sign.... and we're planning on printing out some vinyl poster or something. Let's see. But for those of you itching for a glimpse of the rock vocalist, here're a coupla pix of the maestro stepping onto Indian soil - at the Chennai International airport.
