Update

So ... I never really bought the iPhone . Should be obvious, considering that it's priced at Rs. 31,000. My life is going on pretty great, right now. Had an awesome Birthday weekend at Baroda . I've got the recently launched Motorola ZN200 slider phone. It's pretty decent. Rs. 6000 and works for me. God's been drawing me closer to Him. I'm beginning to rediscover truths about Him, life and the way we're meant to be. It's simply awesome. Yaiy! That's about it for now, I guess. Will try blogging more later. :) Oh right, and I'm trying to re-kickstart two of my other blogs - Dan's Desirables and Living Momentum . Go ahead. Check them out. Peace out, bros.

iPhone 3G - Vodafone price

Vodafone has just released a statement on their website http://www.vodafone.in/iphone which states that the 8 GB model would cost 31k and the 16 GB model would cost 36k. This is way too much for the iPhone.... popular speculation held that the iPhone would cost anywhere between 15k - 25k in India, when released on August 22nd. This itself is higher than the subsidized price in the US, where the 8 GB model sells for around 8k while the 16GB models sell for around 12k. My personal estimate was anywhere between 18k to 21k. But if this is the price of the iPhone, I won't be buying it. No no, sorry. It's way too costly for me right now. Hopefully, Airtel would come up with some sort of subsidized scheme... I'm crossing my fingers and praying. The giver of good things hasn't let me down. Whatever He does, He does it for my good. Always.

Band in the Air

Looks like the band (that has been a looooong time in coming) could become a reality pretty soon... Bina Mathew (my bosom pal from CSI CE) hooked me up with a school pal of hers - Renu Kotian, who's supposed to have this awesome, sultry voice, and who's apparently dying to sing in a rock band. A lil bit of chatting with the Kotian cleared up preliminary fears and encouraged me to meet up with her. She's like this perfect fit for the kinda band that I've had in my head. So that's one.... Now, if only we could get a guitarist, drummer, pianist.... that would be lover-ly ......... Currently, we're calling it the Band in the Air or BITA for an acronym. This is a temporary name - it could become permanent. We'll see what our Lord wants. The band's gotta be for Christ, and the ppl have to be all out for Christ. We need to focus on personal purity and communal harmony. Dedication to such things would help us go a long way. God help us and show us all how!

iPhone 3G

Yes, I will be owning one, if all goes well, by the 22nd of August. I thought I might not have enough cash to go out and purchase one, but then I ended up praying to God to send someone who would be willing to gift it to me... and guess whom He sent? Smitha D. Gnanaolivu. We all know that she's awesome and she's the sweetest, but this is like the icing and the cake. She's simply the best. She came forward on her own and said she'd been wanting to surprise me, but couldn't let me agonise over the thought that I might not be able to own one. So there.... I'll be getting it, hopefully. God be praised. He's the rock and our ruler, and He certainly rocks and rules!!!!

More videos

I've posted some more videos of the John Schlitt The Grafting India tour 2008, Chennai concert, in addition to the three that are already available at my YouTube channel . They are available at the following locations: 4. John Schlitt - The Grafting India tour May 08 : 04 Grafting 5. John Schlitt - The Grafting India tour May 08 : 05 Creed 6. John Schlitt - The Grafting India tour May 08 : 06 Beyond Belief I'm in the process of uploading the rest. Not got too many left, but am really looking forward to posting the one where Schlitt breaks off. Was the saddest moment of the entire evening, for me. Was standing there, totally stupefied, astonished and shocked. My jaw dropped open and stayed that way during his entire explanation. Unfortunately, AJ didn't realise what was going on, and so John's apology speech didn't get recorded. Not even a little bit. :( But, I guess that's the way it's meant to be. :)

MacBook 2.4 Ghz White - It's not costly

Hey all.... I've just had a glorious weekend sleeping over at S uncle's place (from church). And yesterday, Sunday, I convinced him to purchase a MacBook. Or rather, I convinced him to take a look at the MacBook at the Imagine store in Forum Mall. (For the sake of our international readers, I should mention that India does not yet have a single Apple Store ) So we went... And I told one of the sales guys that this uncle wants to purchase a MacBook - so do your best job in selling it. Truth be told, half of the selling was done by moi .... There were even certain facts which that guy had got wrong. :) A quick check on the Internet proved I was right. The sales guy was mighty pleased to meet such an Apple fan... Anyways, I spent the night over at uncle's place, setting up Leopard (which is a cinch) and then going through a few key actions and customisations so that uncle would be able to find his way around it. Uncle was really really really pleased with GarageBand . He feel

Hi all... Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Chennai show was great. It kinda had a major hiccup, but I had the time of my life. Posters we're gonna be holding up, at the Schlitt concert

So, if you check the stuff that needs to be done to attend a John Schlitt concert , you'd see that a poster was mentioned.... Why not make it three?!!?! Well, so we're gonna get a few posters printed out on A3 size paper, and then hold it up, from our front-row seats (no points for guessing that we won't be seated!) so that John (and the band) could see it... and be encouraged!!! In honour of the song, God Is Too Big , from John's 1996 album, Unfit For Swine . Wake The Dead, is an awesome way to start off John's first solo album, Shake (1995) We Worship You , from Unfit For Swine (1996) and Lord, Have Mercy , from The Grafting (2008) would definitely be sung at the concert (we're hoping!) and we hope to hold this poster up when those songs get sung.... All in all, we're planning to go grand this saturday. So be there... cos John Schlitt will definitely be there!!! NOTE: If you're still looking around for tickets, try GenXEntertainment.com and/or call 0

So... The tour of Petra 's lead vocalist for twenty years - John Schlitt - is all set to begin. But for those of you itching for a glimpse of the rock vocalist, here're a coupla pix of the maestro stepping onto Indian soil - at the Chennai International airport. Living Waters Community Church

Yep - it looks like my church has changed. It may be too soon to say this, but looks like I'm going to be a regular at the LWCC, which is situated half-way across the city. It's a lovely little house church and I'm beginning to think that all our churches should be broken down into house churches. At the end of the day, the size/building doesn't really matter does it? Well, I went there this Sunday again, and found it pretty decent, to say the least. Youth was fun (I guess that always is!) and I did manage to again come up with a few questions for Pastor regarding his message. What can I say?! I like it here!!!

Living Momentum?

Hello all. Yes, it's been a while. Just thought I'd update here on a cool new thingy that's been started (yesterday!)... I was talking to a friend of mine when I realised that we really need to hold up each other, if we're gonna make it through this life on earth as God's people. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, Living Momentum was born. Written from daily devotionals linked to personal experiences, the Living Momentum blog (http://lmomentum.blogspot.com) aims to be a source of inspiration, hope and strength to any believer who is feeling lost and alone out on the sea. I really dunno how far I can do this, cos blogging on a daily basis - awww!!! Anyways, for now, just jump in and enjoy. God bless you all.
